Elegibility

Application is open to current and prospective students.

Fluent in English
Able to work under pressure
Proactive and energetic
Able to commit for both event days, 24 and 25 July.
Able to attend a 1-hr briefing on 23 July.
If joining from overseas, must be able to cover own transportation and accommodation costs

Job Scope

Volunteers will be assigned, one of the following key support functions:

Registration
Be the first face and impression of Tech in Asia Conference! Help with scanning tickets, giving directions and answering attendee questions.
Ushers
VIP time is limited time; help us escort tier-one participants to where they need to be, when they need to be there.
Runners
See the event through from end-to-end, by helping the floor manager create seamless flows between stages, booths, and special stations.
Stage hands and floor crew
Assist production managers in managing key segments of the conference, such as the exhibition halls, meeting areas, and restricted areas for selected pass holders.
Miscellaneous
Help the Events team manage the many various tasks that crop up, behind the scenes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum age requirement to volunteer?

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

How do I sign up to volunteer?

Fill up and submit the application form above by June 28th. We’ll notify you of the selection results by early July.

Do I need any specific skills or experience to volunteer?

No experience needed as training will be provided for all volunteers.

Can I still volunteer if I miss the training or can't work both days?

We encourage applications, but priority goes to those attending training and available both days.

Will I be reimbursed for any transportation expenses?

Unfortunately, we are unable to cover your transportation costs. However, if you’re driving and parking at Hilton Hotel, you can bring your parking ticket to the event counter to receive a flat rate discount instead of the usual hourly charges.
