With over 30 years’ experience in SME banking, Ajit has held senior management roles across leading financial institutions such as DBS Bank, Citibank, Fullerton Financial Holdings and Bank Danamon. His knowledge and expertise in the field of SME financing spans multi-geography exposure to banking verticals for coverage as well as risk. At Citibank, Ajit pioneered its SME banking concept – building a robust SME franchise from scratch that was replicated across Citibank globally.
A regular speaker at events and conferences, Ajit often shares his views and insights on Fintech and SME lending; and has been published in the media including Channel News Asia, and The Edge Singapore.
Ajit holds an Accountancy & Auditing degree certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India, and graduated with a degree in Commerce (Honours) Accountancy from Mumbai University.
