Gerald Ariff

Gerald is a former Head of 4 MBA Programmes at Bina Nusantara University with professional experience in Higher Ed, VC & consulting with MNC firms in the UK, Russia, S. Korea & Indonesia. Worked in automotive, private equity & telco sectors in activities ranging from target company due diligence, product marketing, business planning & strategy development. Prior to returning to Jakarta in 2003, he held Analyst roles at Tellit Communications (now Qualcomm UK), HGA Consulting (part of Halcrow Group) & Inquam (Qualcomm-Saudi Oger pan European mobile holding) in London. Subsequently he held strategic planning roles at Astra Honda Motors & Ernst & Young Advisory in Jakarta. He is a member of the Strategic Management Society, European Corporate Governance Institute & UK Chartered Institute of Management. He holds a B.Eng (Honours) in Electronic Engineering from King’s College London, University of London (UK), an M.Sc in Management from the University of Surrey (UK) & a Ph.D in Strategic Management from the University of Indonesia.
