Tim Young has over 25 years of experience in business analytics, AI machine learning, and big data. He currently works for DataRobot as General Manager of APAC, based in Singapore. Before returning to Singapore in 2019, Tim was SVP Marketing and a member of the DataRobot Executive Management Team based in Boston, US. Other employers in Singapore include Netezza, Workday, and IBM.
Tim spent the early part of his career conducting large-scale data management and IT strategic planning projects for large enterprises including British Telecom, Mercury (T-Mobile), Shell, British Airways, and Ford. Most of his career has been spent in Marketing, initially as a Product Manager for Oracle, but then a marketing leader for Netezza, IBM, and Workday. He has managed marketing teams in Europe, Asia, and the US.
Previous employers include Oracle (UK, Australia), BMC Software, CACI, and two start-ups: Patrol Software and Proxima Technology. Tim has a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Computing Science from the University of Greenwich, London. He lives in Singapore.
